Shuttle Route Expands Service Area
Altamonte Springs is redefining how residents and visitors move through the City with the next phase of CraneRIDES, an autonomous shuttle service designed to make transportation more accessible, efficient and connected. As the City continues to evolve, so do the ways people get around. By prioritizing innovative transit solutions, Altamonte Springs is paving the future where convenience and connectivity go hand in hand.
Expanding to Serve More People
With the next phase of CraneRIDES, the shuttle service will extend its route to connect directly to AdventHealth Altamonte. This expansion will provide hundreds of hospital staff, patients and visitors with easy access to nearby resources, businesses and recreational areas. By integrating CraneRIDES with one of the area’s largest employers and healthcare providers, the City is making transportation more efficient while supporting the well-being of the community.
Looking Ahead to SunRail Connectivity
The long-term vision for CraneRIDES goes beyond AdventHealth, with plans to expand service to the Altamonte Springs SunRail station in 2026. This essential link will offer residents and visitors a convenient way to transition between local and regional transit, making it easier than ever to explore the City, visit new developments along Central Parkway or enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Cranes Roost Park.
By connecting people to SunRail, Altamonte Springs is embracing the future of transportation, one that prioritizes accessibility, reduces reliance on personal vehicles and further develops a thriving, walkable community.
