United Kingdom-based Causeway Technologies has selected Altamonte Springs as the location of its first North American headquarters, further positioning the community as a national leader in smart city innovation and public-private collaboration. The headquarters is housed within the Altamonte Global Innovation Lab (AGīL), underscoring the City’s commitment to fostering technology-driven progress and expanding international partnerships. From this hub, Causeway will scale its impact across the region and the nation.
This milestone builds on the deployment of Causeway one.network, launched in March 2024, which has reshaped how roadwork and traffic operations are coordinated in Altamonte Springs. The platform equips local agencies with real-time tools to synchronize maintenance schedules, optimize traffic flow and reduce disruptions before they occur. The result is greater operational efficiency, enhanced public safety and improved mobility throughout the community.
Live data from one.network is now integrated into major navigation platforms, including Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps, TomTom and Drivewise. This integration delivers two critical outcomes: safer conditions for roadway workers through increased driver awareness and real-time routing information that helps the public make better travel decisions.
The partnership with Causeway Technologies reflects a shared vision for smarter, safer and more connected transportation systems. Together, AGīL and Causeway are demonstrating how technology can create meaningful improvements in everyday mobility—and set a model for communities across the country.
