The Altamonte Springs Science Incubator (AS2I) supports some of the brightest young minds in Seminole County through its scholarship program. These students represent academic excellence, curiosity and a deep commitment to improving the world around them.
Through meaningful partnerships with AdventHealth and the philanthropic support of the Ansara and Freeman families, the City and AS2I have awarded more than $37,000 in scholarship funding to 25 outstanding Seminole County students to date.
We are sincerely grateful to the following partners whose generosity makes this opportunity possible:
- AdventHealth - As a leader in healthcare innovation, AdventHealth demonstrates a strong commitment to youth and community advancement. Their mission to nurture and empower aligns seamlessly with AS2I’s vision to inspire the next generation of thinkers and problem solvers. Their partnership opens doors for students and helps transform potential into opportunity.
- The Ansara Family - Dr. Ashley Ansara and his family are well known in Central Florida for their philanthropic leadership and impactful real estate ventures. Through the Ansara Family Trust, they provide meaningful support to students pursuing careers in STEM fields. We extend our appreciation for their generosity and their continued investment in innovation and future discovery.
- The Freeman Family -This scholarship also honors the legacy of Beverley P. Freeman, a beloved Seminole County native and longtime guidance counselor at Lyman High School. She spent more than two decades championing students and preparing them for post-secondary success. In her honor, the Freeman Family generously supports the AS2I Scholarship program, helping students who are determined to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Thanks to the generosity of these partners, the Altamonte Springs Science Incubator proudly supports students who are ready to shape the future through creativity, purpose and innovation.
